I'm Artur — I work with Unix daily, like small, sharp tools, and understand things by taking them apart: usually systems programming in C, and higher-level languages when I just want to get something done.

Notes and long-form write-ups on things I hit or dig into for real — problems with no clean answer on the first page of results, teardowns of how things actually work, and concepts worth pinning down.

Off the clock I do low-level programming and creative work for retro platforms — the kind of hard limits I enjoy working against. I'm hoping to write about that on my other site, shirozuki.net, once it exists.
